I have been planning a trip around the United States for over a year. Jenny and I are finally doing it. Here is the route as of today. I layed it out in Microsoft Streets & Trips. I hate to admit it but the program and GPS unit have been working great so far. I am writing this from Kansas on day two of the trip. We started yesterday near Detroit and should be in Colorado tomorrow. So far we haven’t seen much worth talking about. Thanks to corporate america one town looks like another from the highway. What my friend Bryan called Generica. Just chain restaurants and Walmarts from sea to shining sea. We are going to visit several national parks though and a lot more so I am sure we will have something worth talking about soon.
