As kind of a joke we went to the Casa Bonita restaurant in Denver. It was on an episode of South Park in which Cartman really wanted to go there for his birthday or something. It was in a nearly empty strip mall and from the look of the place it’s best days are gone. We weren’t really hungry but wanted to see inside so we paid a cover charge and bought a couple of terrible margaritas that may have been nonalcoholic but definitely tasted like dirty lemonade.
The interior was at least two stories and reminded Jen of the kind of cheesy theme places you find in Las Vegas. We watched a couple guys do
dives off the “cliff” into a small pool below. This was the only decent photo I took of the dives.
This shot gives you the misguided impression that this fellow can juggle. It was fun anyway.
